Lost girls How To: Survive an exam without studying

1. Figure out which exam you´re taking 10 minutes before going in

2. See if you have a calculator, it might be useful in case you have to use one

3. Read every summary chapter in the book

4. Read over the study guide if you have one

5. Drink lots of caffeine to keep you awake

6. Start with calculating how many minutes you can spend on each problem (now the calculator comes in handy)

7. Spend exactly that amount on time on each problem

8. Use fancy words, they´ll blind the teacher

9. Write things like: merry christmas, have a nice weekend, take care at the bottom of your exam paper.

10. Don´t worry with this guide you can´t go wrong.

We put i-Tunes on shuffle to find out which songs would be in Lostgirls:The movie. These were the songs that came up:

Opening credits: Love fool with Cardigans, best Swedish band ever J

Waking Up: Crazy little thing called love with Queen, what is better to wake up to than that?

First Day At School: Like I love you with Justin (the beautiful) Timberlake. Guess school starts off well then J

Falling In Love: Light my fire with The Doors, oh yeah come on baby light my fire…

Fight Song: Vukovu Umiri samiw with Boris Novkovic Croatian song from Eurovision 2005. There are probably better fight songs but this might work (unless they´re talking love but we don´t understand the lyrics)

Breaking Up: Forbidden love with Deatch cab for cutie. Wow this is definitely the right song although I don´t really like it. It´s just the whole forbidden love thing.

Prom: Bad moon rising with Creedence clearwater. Guess it´s an oldies prom…but it´s good to dance too.

Getting Back Together: La bamba with Gypsy kings. Maybe they get back together at a salsa club that´s a very strong possibility for this movie.

Birth of Child: I love the nightlife with Alicia Bridges. We don´t really know what kind of songs would be appropriate for giving birth but this is proably as good as any!

Final Battle: Ready for the goodtimes with Shakira.

Death Scene: Angel standing by with Jewel, probably a slow and beautiful death then.

Funeral song: Sorry seems to be the hardest word with Elton John. That´s very dramatic.

End Credits: Hurt with Christina Aguilera. It´s official Lostgirls: the movie will be a very very dramatic movie.

Lostgirls How to: Date in Vestmanna

The town of Vestmanna is located on north-vest Streymoy in the Faroe islands. It is not one of the biggest towns but it has everything that´s important in the Faroese; footballfield, church and a tanning saloon.
1. Have a lunch date at the ONLY restaurant in town, it´s very important to make it a lunch date because it´s only open from 12-14.
2. Have a hot dog at the Select gas station because it´s open ´till midnight.
3. Go to the tanning saloon.
4. Watch a football game
5. Participate in a football game.
6. Go boating and see the amazing caves (given that you have a boat).
7. Go for a drive and watch the fog (yeah there´s fog everywhere, there goes the view....)
8. Go for a romantic walk near the harbor or the dam.
9. Go to church.
10. Stay at home and knit or play cards.
11. (Only if all of the above fails), Buy a car and drive to Torshavn and go to the Bowling palace

As the population of Iceland becomes more multi-national and masses of tourists roam the country we felt the need to translate a few Icelandic sayings for them so they wont get too lost in translation.....

1. Það er einhvers staðar lengst úti í rassgati : It´s somewhere far away up in somebodys asshole.

2. Þú ert algjört rassgat (used for young babies): You´re such an asshole.

3. Áfram með smjörið (you want something to go fast): Get on with the butter

4. Ég tek þig í bakaríð (when angry and ready to beat someone up): I´ll take you to the bakery

5. Að standa á öndinni (to barely catch ones breath): To stand on the duck
